Please note, it is very often the efficiency of the appliances to be run which determine the viability
of many systems. Highly efficient appliances make a massive difference to the cost of any stand-alone
energy system. Also, DC equipment is cheaper to power than AC equipment.
Using advanced computer interpolation, we can assess the solar and wind resources available for
any site around the world. We will also examine the most energy efficient ways of achieving the
client's goals, ensuring that the energy produced is not wasted.
We then design a solar / wind energy system to fulfill the client's requirements. Our design team
are fully trained and use the latest meteorological software. Design fees (not including expenses)
are not charged for the first hour of a system designers time. If required, extra design time
can
be negotiated.
Please note: This service is offered totally at the discretion of the EDC, and if we consider a
project to be un-viable, we reserve the right to retract the offer of free system design.
Due to local site and weather variations, we are unable to guarantee the specific power output of
any of the systems we design.
